We hold 33 years of uninterrupted legal experience and 23 years as an admitted attorney. The founder, Marina Horak, was a prosecutor, regional court prosecutor, criminal magistrate and civil magistrate for many years. She also worked for the Master of the High Court and for First National Trust where she gained invaluable experience in estates and trusts.

More recently, Marina gained invaluable experience as a commercial litigator with the firm of Brian Kahn Inc, in Johannesburg, with whom she was employed for 6 years. She previously had her own very busy collections practice in Nelspruit and has practised as Horak Incorporated since 2009, focusing mainly on company liquidations and High Court litigation.

Marina has furthermore been a practising attorney for 22 years and has extensive experience in all of the firm's core practice areas.

Horak Inc under the directorship of Marina had a presence in Johannesburg’s northern suburbs for 9 years and now in Cape Town’s northern suburbs for 5 years. It has its main focus on commercial litigation, liquidations, conveyancing, commercial law, deceased estate administration and the Horak Realty Property practice.
